The goal of the Marion County Elected Officials is to take the steps necessary to protect our staff and still serve the public’s needs during these uncharted times.  In order to accomplish this goal, we continue to work with various local, state and federal agencies to monitor the rapidly changing mandates and recommendations for Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020, the county offices will remain open during normal business hours but entrance to the Courthouse will be limited to appointments and emergencies only. 

We highly encourage the public to call all offices for information, use regular mail, email and the Marion County website for information.  You can access all the online services we provide for payment of taxes, research of records and mapping information.  Email addresses, mailing addresses and telephone numbers for county offices and telephone numbers for all county offices are available on the website at
